Video Poker is a beloved game that is able to be wagered on in casinos throughout the world, or alternatively at your house on your home computer, through a web connection. The game rules are absolutely simple and involve the player trying to achieve the highest combination of cards achievable in order to come away with money. It should be known that the pay out schedule can change from machine to machine, so that knowledgeable gamblers are able to select the most beneficial machine every time.
After the first round has played out, the player can either decide to continue on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any money that they may have won. Further, some versions of the game allow the gambler a chance to double their winnings, in which situation a further hand is played. There are also variations among specific machines, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other varying aspects to enhance playability.
